Areas of focus:
•Cytopathology and Histopathology of oral premalignant disorders and malignancies
•Immunohistochemical evaluation of invasive front in oral cancer
•Forensic odontology with DNA analysis from saliva and pulp
•Oral microbiology
He received his bachelor’s degree under the TamilNadu M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai in 2001. He subsequently received his master’s degree in Oral Pathology and Microbiology from the TamilNadu M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai in 2006. Prior to joining the faculty of SDCRI, he held academic positions in Faculty of Dentistry, Saveetha University, Chennai, India and Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, State of Libya, North Africa.

•Has co-authored textbooks in other aspects of dentistry.

Dr. Sandeep Goyal
He is working as a Reader in the Department of Oral pathology & Microbiology. He did his post-graduation from GDC &H, Ahmadabad. He has numerous national and international publications to his credit and is an author of Famous and Reputed book “AIIMS 25”.
He is a dedicated teacher and is working tirelessly for setting up new standards in teaching and simplifying the course for the benefit of the students. He has guided undergraduate students in research projects like forensic implications of the dimensions of palatal rugae based on ethnic groups.
He is in the reviewer board for journals like Journal of Advanced medical and Dental Science Research.

Dr. Roopam Choudhary
She is working as a Reader in our department. She is interested in premalignant conditions and anomalies affecting the dentition. She is keen in updating her knowledge and handles the undergraduate lectures.

Dr. Gautam Bhambri
He is working as a senior lecturer in the department. He did his post-graduation from our department in 2015 and is working here since then. He is a sincere staff who puts in his hundred percent every time.

Dr. Lokendera Raghav

He is working as a senior lecturer in our department. He is actively involved in undergraduate lectures and practical classes.
